In what was initially thought to have been stolen soybeans from a farmer in Kingston Township of Tuscola County has turned out to be a case of mistaken bins. Tuscola County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to a farm in the area of Lamton rd and Mushroom Road in Kingston Township when a farmer reported approximately 28,000 lbs or 460 bushels of organic roasted soybeans had been stolen from grain bins located at the farm. The soybeans belonged to another farmer and were being roasted at the farm where they were taken. After further investigation it was discovered that a farmer was supposed to pick up the beans from the complaintant, but took beans from the wrong bin by mistake. Sheriff's Deputies were then able to close the complaint.
