Sanilac Commissioners Approved Some Expenditures on Tuesday

Sanilac County Commissioners approved several expenditures.
Commissioners approved allocating up to $30,000 to the Blue Water Conservation District to fund Farm Bill Technicians to assist with the implementation of Farm Bill programs in the county.
The money will be distributed $10,000 for fiscal years 2027, 2028, and 2029.
The funds to do that will come from the environmental trust fund.
The board approved providing a $2,000 stipend to have a park employee take pesticide certification training.
The funding for that will come from the parks millage.
Commissioners also approved spending up to $5,630 for a PMI Evidence Tracker system for the drug task force, and to pay the annual $795 fee for licensing it.
The money for that will come out of the drug task millage.
The Sanilac County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7 to observe Labor Day.
