2 drivers injured in Sunday accident in Lake Township

     Both drivers were taken to Scheurer Hospital by ambulance following a rear end collision Sunday in Lake Township. Huron County Sheriffs deputies were called to the scene on M-25 about 100 feet east of James Drive.   46 year old Jennifer Elaine Wruble of Shelby township had been east bound and was attempting to turn into a private drive. The jeep behind her, driven by 34 year old Matthew Brian Johnson of Caseville thought the other vehicle was going to turn left and attempted to pass on the right. However the Wruble vehicle was trying to turn right at they collided. The Johnson vehicle rolled over after impact and both vehicles came to rest off the roadway. A dog in the Johnson Jeep was also injured and a was treated by a good Samaritan at the scene until the driver was released from the hospital. Johnson had facial injuries, while Wruble had shoulder and leg pain.
