Teen on National Center for Missing and Exploited Children list found in Harbor Beach

A teenager who was listed through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as missing was found earlier this week in Harbor Beach. A complaint by a local citizen on their concerns started Harbor Beach Police with their investigation, according to police chief Todd Buchholz. He told us the teen was missing from Arkansas, and arrangements have been made to turn her over to officials from that state as she is scheduled to fly home today (Friday). Harbor Beach Police have been working with the Department of Human Services the past two days to get the teen back home. Buchholz told us they put a lot of time into the investigation, and will turn their reports over to the Huron County Prosecutors office to determine if there will be any charges locally for those she had been staying with in Harbor Beach.
