The Caseville City Council approved the resignation of Karl Krull from the water treatment plant as of July 16th, at its regular meeting this week. Krull has accepted a supervisory position at the Harbor Beach Water treatment plant. The council approved a 1 thousand dollar donation to the Caseville Historical Society, which they have done for a number of years, and approved a 3 thousand dollar donation to the Chamber of Commerce for the 4th of July Fireworks. The donation was made after the fact, so it would be in the new fiscal year budget. The Council approved reappointing June Kretzschmer to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and James Smith as an alternate.
