A 30 year old Sebewaing man was given 2 to 7 1/2 years in prison when he was sentenced in Huron County Circuit Court Monday. James A. Ferris was sentenced for breaking and entering and a habitual offender charge - second offense. He must pay 1 thousand dollars restitution, with further restitution to be determined at a later date. He must also pay state minimum costs and the crime victims rights fee. He was on parole from the state prison system on another home invasion charge and this current sentence would start after any time left on the earlier conviction.
