Three people were arrested after an investigation into narcotics sales in the Port Huron Area. According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force was investigating the sales of crystal methamphetamine and heroin when a Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit and DTF members attempted to stop one of the suspects in his vehicle on 10th Street north of Electric around 8:30 pm Tuesday. The suspect, a 34-year-old man from Port Huron, fled the scene before stopping on Electric near 16th Street. He was taken into custody at this location. A search warrant was executed by the DTF at his residence in the Village Manor apartment complex on Cleveland Street in Port Huron. Located and seized at the residence were crystal methamphetamine, heroin, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia, and cell phones. Two Port Huron residents, a 27-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, were arrested at the residence. The three suspects are currently lodged in the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. They are facing charges that include possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver heroin, maintaining a drug house, and being a habitual offender. The 34-year-old is also facing charges of fleeing and eluding. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol assisted with the investigation.
