SAGINAW POLICE LOOK IN TO DRIVE BY SHOOTING OF MAN WITH RELATIVES IN ELKTON

SAGINAW POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A DRIVE BY SHOOTING EARLY MONDAY MORNING THAT SERIOUSLY WOUNDED A 19 YEAR OLD SAGINAW RESIDENT WITH FAMILY CONNECTIONS TO THE ELKTON AREA. FAMILY MEMBERS TELL WLEW NEWS THAT JOSHUA BLACKAMORE REMAINS IN ST MARY'S MEDICAL CENTER OF SAGINAW AFTER THE BULLET STRUCK HIM IN THE CHEST AND WENT THROUGH BOTH LUNGS. THE SHOOTING OCCURRED IN THE AREA OF OWEN AND ARNOLD STREETS IN SAGINAW EARLY MONDAY MORNING. BLACKAMORE TOLD FAMILY MEMBERS HE WAS GOING TO SEE A GIRL AT THE TIME HE WAS SHOT. THE CASE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION, AND NO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE AT THIS TIME.
