APPOINTMENTS MADE TO THE CORN MARKETING PROGRAM OF MICHIGAN

GOVERNOR RICK SNYDER HAS SELECTED NEW MEMBERS TO JOIN THE CORN MARKETING PROGRAM OF MICHIGAN BOARD.    STEVE LONIER OF LANSING WITH OVER 30 YEARS FARMING EXPERIENCE WILL NOW REPRESENT DISTRICT 6 GROWERS.    LONIER CO-OWNS SHADY LODGE FARM AND HAS SERVED ON THE CLINTON COUNTY AG-LAND PRESERVATION BOARD.     NOW REPRESENTING DISTRICT 9 IS PAUL WAGNER OF GRAWN MICHIGAN.   WAGNER, A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FARM BUREAU STATE YOUNG FARMERS GROWS CORN, SOY BEANS, HAY, WHEAT, AND OATS ON A&P FARMS WHICH HE OWNS.    REAPPOINTED TO THE BOARD WAS RICHARD DOBBINS OF CONCORD MICHIGAN.    HE WILL CONTINUE TO REPRESENT DISTRICT 5.     PRESIDENT AND CEO OF NORTH CONCORD FARMS, DOBBINS HAS OVER 40 YEARS FARMING EXPERIENCE IN CORN AND SOYBEANS.    EACH MAN WILL SERVE THREE YEAR TERMS EXPIRING IN MARCH OF 2016.
