Three members of the public came forward during the meeting, two of which made complaints about a village employee and an ordinance violation.
In old news, the solar farm was optionee for a lease at 18 months time for $1,000 to be approved by the board.
Paperwork was finished for the Downtown Development Grant, and was submitted. This grant opportunity allows the city to boost tourism through multiple projects; specifically, town murals, brochure kiosks and more. These projects are yet to be completed.
Other news consisted of $1,000 for repairs to the downtown area and the ambulance service renewal which is on the November ballot alone with three council seats that are also up for votes.
The next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on August 14th.
