Deckerville Schools Changes Meeting Date Due to Holiday

Because of Memorial Day, the Deckerville School District's Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, May 26, instead of on Monday.

The meeting will still be in the high school library.

According to the preliminary agenda, the board is expected to renew the food service contract agreement, and approve a resolution to continue with the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) for the next academic school year.

MHSAA is the governing body that regulates and organizes interscholastic sports and postseason tournaments for junior high and high schools across the state.

During the meeting, administrators are also expected to provide reports.
