Huron County drivers should plan for a summer road closure tied to bridge maintenance in the Pinnebog River area.
The Huron County Road Commission says work is scheduled to begin May 26th on the Limerick Road Bridge located between Champagne Road and Grassmere Road. Crews are expected to spend nearly two months repairing and sealing concrete beams as part of ongoing bridge preservation efforts.
Officials estimate the project will wrap up by July 24th, weather permitting. During construction, Limerick Road in that stretch will be closed to through traffic, with detours posted along Champagne Road, Kinde Road, and Grassmere Road.
Local access for residents will remain open throughout the project, according to the Road Commission. Motorists are being urged to allow extra travel time and watch for posted detour signs in the area.
