Thumb Area COVID-19 Update for 02/22

The Thumb Area saw 10 new COVID-19 cases in Huron County, 13 new cases in Sanilac County, and 15 new cases in Tuscola County on Monday. The updated numbers are-
-Huron County- 1,618 cases with 55 deaths, up 10 cases from Saturday.
-Sanilac County- 1,822 cases with 71 deaths, up 13 cases from Saturday.
-Tuscola County- 2,801 cases with 127 deaths, up four cases and one death from Thursday.
The State of Michigan is now at 581,403 cases with 15,362 deaths, as of 3 P.M. Monday. That's up from 579,919 cases with 15,359 deaths reported on Saturday, an increase of 1,484 cases and 3 deaths, for an average of 742 cases and about 2 deaths over two days, as COVID-19 Numbers are not updated on Sundays.
