    The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reports as of Friday there have been 529,080 who have been able to recover from having the COVID-19 virus, which is 11,989 more than last weeks' report.
   Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset of the illness.
   Also over the last 24 hours, there have been 635 more confirmed cases of the virus for a total of 579,919, and 63 deaths for a total of 15,359 fatal cases.
   However, of those reported deaths, 57 were identified during a review of vital records.
   There are also 56,350 probable cases that are being monitored after 188 more were added, and there are 983 probable deaths to be reviewed after 5 were added.
   A probable case means there is a possibility the person was exposed to the virus or has possible symptoms of the virus so they are being monitored.
   A probable death means it is being studied further to determine if it was COVID-19 caused.

   Huron County's numbers remained steady with 1,608, and there are 489 probable cases that are being monitored after 4 were added. Fatal cases remain at 55, and there are still 3 probable deaths to be reviewed.
   Three more deaths in Tuscola County brings the number of fatal cases to 127, and there are still 10 probable deaths to be reviewed. Two more brings the number of cases to 2,786, and there are 349 probable cases being observed after 2 were added.
   Another death brings Sanilac County's fatal cases to 71 with 4 probable deaths still to be reviewed if they were COVID-19 caused. Cases total 1,809 after 3 more were identified, and there are 186 probable cases that are being observed after 3 were added.
   Cases in Lapeer County increased by 15 to 4,270, and there are 639 probable cases that are being followed after 4 were added.   Fatal cases remain at 117 with 2 probable cases still to be reviewed.
   Cases in Bay County total 7,026 after 16 more were confirmed, and there are 305 probable cases being followed after 1 was added. Fatal cases remain at 271 with 12 probable deaths still to be examined.
   In Midland County, there are 4,325 cases of the virus after 1 was added, and there are 579 probable cases being monitored after 1 was added. Deaths remain at 61 with 3 probable deaths still to be examined.
   Six additional deaths brings Saginaw County's fatal cases to 488, and there are still 11 probable deaths to be reviewed.
Cases increased by 17 to 13,927, and there are 714 probable cases that are being observed after 1 was removed.
Another death brings Genesee County's fatal cases to 700 with 50 probable deaths still to be reviewed. Cases increased by 17 to 21,367, and there are 3,762 probable cases that are being observed after 5 were added.
   Twelve more deaths brings Oakland County's number of fatal cases to 1,867 with 110 probable deaths still to be examined. Cases total 63,681 after 50 more were confirmed, and there are 10,063 probable cases that are being monitored after 41 were added.
   Another death in St. Clair County brings fatal cases to 241, and there are still 12 probable deaths to be assessed if they were COVID-19 caused. Seventeen more brings the number of cases to 7,272, and there are 1,286 probable cases being monitored after 18 were added.
   Six additional deaths over the last 24 hours brings Macomb County's fatal cases to 1,847, and there are 102 probable deaths to be reviewed after 4 were removed. Cases increased by 88 to 54,436, and there are 3,566 probable cases that are being followed after 7 were added.
   Fatal cases in Detroit City increased to 1,844 after 2 additional deaths occurred, and there are still 126 probable deaths to be examined. Cases total 29,651 after 33 additional were confirmed, and probable cases increased by 13 to 2,390.
   Fatal cases in Wayne County increased by 5 to 2,056, and there are 92 probable deaths to be reviewed after 1 was added. Cases total 63,636 after 54 more were identified, and there are 4,695 probable cases that are being observed after 33 were added.
   The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States now totals more than 28 million, according to the John Hopkins University of Medicine.
   Cases of the virus increased by 87,727 over the last 24 hours to 28,038,274, and 1,513 additional deaths brings the number of fatal cases to 496,528. Cases increased globally by 358,562 to 110,921,047, and fatal cases increased by 8,184 to 2,456,372.
