Thumb Area COVID-19 Update for 07/20

The Thumb Area saw three new COVID-19 case in Huron County, three new case in Sanilac County, and seven new cases in Tuscola County on Tuesday. The updated numbers are-

-Huron County- 3,063 cases with 75 deaths, up three cases from Friday.
-Sanilac County- 3,741 cases with 117 deaths, up three cases from Friday.
-Tuscola County- 4,904 cases with 162 deaths, up seven cases from Friday.

The State of Michigan is now at 898,626 cases with 19,862 deaths, as of 3 P.M. Tuesday. That's up from 897,598 cases with 19,848 deaths reported on Friday, an increase of 1,028 cases and 14 deaths, for an average of 257 cases and about 4 deaths over four days, as COVID-19 Numbers are now only updated on Tuesdays and Fridays. All 14 Deaths reported were a result of a State Correction.
