The City of Caseville at its council meeting this week approved a one time - 1,000 dollar hazard pay for both its full and part time police officers through the Federal Cares Act. City Clerk Jamie Learman said the pay would go out once the money is released to those 11 officers in the department.   In other action, they approved a addendum with MERS which handles the city's retirement system clarifying eligibility, but doesn't change the plan in any way. They will have their October meeting at the Caseville Historical Building, as they do once a year, and Learman noted that the polling location in November will be at the fire hall, which will allow for greater safety for those voting and the election workers as there is more space at the fire hall for social distancing.
