Port Huron man pleads guilty to unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle

    A 30 year old Port Huron man pleaded guilty to unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle and habitual offender - third offense when he was arraigned Monday in Huron County Circuit Court. Clayton Smith as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors will have no further habitual offender charges, must pay full restitution, and there was no objection to use of a drug court, if he qualifies and is accepted. His 5 thousand dollar - ten percent bond was continued pending sentencing, November 9th.
