With the work on Brown City's Main Street wrapping up, the main focus will now be on M-19.
The highway work is part of the Michigan Department of Transportation's $2.6 million investment to resurface 13.6 miles of M-90 from M-53 to M-19.
Work includes shoulder improvements, concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalk ramps compatible with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The road work will improve the driving surface, extend the life of the roadway, and improve the surface of the railroad crossing.
