Michigan State Police Announce Free Active Shooter Training

The Michigan Department of State Police, Tri-City Post, is announcing a free active shooter training and building safety assessments to organizations within the Tri City area. State Trooper Mark Burch, with twenty-one years of experience, has attended a variety of trainings related to critical incidents such as: New Mexico Tech-Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, New Mexico Tech-Understanding and Planning for School Bomb Incidents, Active Shooter, Department of Homeland Security-Protected Critical Infrastructure Information Program. Trainings can be made specific to any orginazation or group following a building assessment. The focus is keeping people safe. The Michigan Department of State Police is committed to providing public safety and recognizes that being prepared can help save lives.
